guild rep

You get some from HK's but its very very slow, i think I was getting 1 guild rep every 10-20 HK's with the 100% guild rep tabard on.



Exalted is possible but it would take months/years of hard farming.



EDIT: I farmed up 218 guild rep from aprox 3000 HK's (for the northrend reps in 4.1) with the 100% guild rep tabard., that brings us to roughly 15,000 HK's per 1000 guild rep, neutral -> exalted is something like 43,000 rep so you're looking at somewhere in the region of 645,000 HK's to get exalted with your guild.



That was killing a level 20 char tho, I believe killing a level 85 gives roughly double the honor I was getting so that would cut the required HK's in half, but would also bring with it other problems.
 
A 85 gives about 6 honor per kill, how much does a 20 give?

You wouldn't get the full 6 honor ofc, since you can't farm lvl 85s alone.
 
what you cant kill an 85 by yourself?



anyway found this thread trying to see the numbers on guild rep



i currently have about 33K hks and guild rep is 1500/3000 neutral



this would seem to infer that guild rep tics 1 per 20ish kills since im lvl10 with very little quest rep



however i dont seem to notice any difference with wearing the guild tabard its still ticking for 1 rep not 2
 
ok so sub is friendly with guild but if you are honor capped you get no rep for kills cause no honor i get 4 honor per lvl 5 i kill alone and about 500 rep per 4k honor so per 1000 hks with 100% tabard on and a lvl 25 guild so if you dumped honor when full it wouldn't take too long lol
 
sry updated magelo so now in my rep tab you can see i am also when i was doing 100hks i was capped on honor alot cause to dump it was a long fly and run back soon i am going for 250k and im gonna dump when i cap should get me like honored maybe further
 
How many trials do you guys generally use for honor farming? I want to start because I only have like 6 HKs haha.



Also, what level should the chars be?
 
Actually for guild rep you will want to lower honor gained for max rep before honor cap the way I did this before I switched guilds was have 2 lvl 1s in group besides me either killing or standing lol all lvl 5s we got 1 honor per which ment many of hours before we needed to dump honor the trick is to have all lvl ones in the same guild that way you get rep in the same way you would killing alone me and a friend got halfway thru honored while farming from 100- 250k hks of course this was in my old lvl 25 guild
 
why would dumping honor be a problem for you, just hearth, dump it into shards or boas and summon yourself back, takes less than 5 minutes. i have gotten over 20 boas this way for free.



also are you saying the people farming the honor should be in a certain guild or the trials, cause trials can't even join guilds.
