EU+US [Guide] how to counter surv hunters as rouge in the gulch

if you get hooked before you can drop combat and stealth, you can do this:

1. eat hook/snare and pop crimson vial to mitigate surv opener
2. pistol shot
3. trinket the wing clip follow-up
4. reapply pistol shot as you kite out of range, pistol shot pet as well
5. if they throw it, dodge trap (very easy, just turn camera towards surv and strafe left or right during throw animation)
6. get healed or inevitably die

alternative sequence

1. wait for 8.0 when surv gets nerfed to oblivion
2. celebrate

the point of the video is to show that restealthing when hooked cancels the leap, not really to brag about skill. it's just an interaction that may prove of use to those who were previously unaware

Pretty sure lild was just trying to get a longer epeen, not educate anyone.
 
if i wanted a longer epeen i wouldve picked one of the 10 better outplays i recorded that day
