you are reading into things, reread post:



guardian series rings are missing

vindicator series rings are missing

battlemaster trinkets are missing

epic 2 min PVP 45 resilience trinket is missing



rogues, hunters, general melee prior to the NPC gank went with one vindicator ring and one guardian ring.



casters used to be the same way, until blizz did the +healing and + spell damage conversion into +spellpower. then they were able to equip 2 different quardian rings



there is no mention of S2, what players did back in S2, and btw guardian rings were released in patch 2.4 and.........S2 "merciliess gear released patch 2.1

Yup, I don't know why they just didn't add the original vendor back. Didn't have to add more pages to a 200000000000000 page honor vendor then.

Since the code changed for cataclysm, its probably easier for them to add loot to a npc then it is to code in a new one. The original guy was probably lost when they changed to 4.0.
 
Got a reply on my ticket just now.. GM says Guardian rings are there.. we just can't see them currently as the goblins are sub-contracting to blizzard as magicans now and still a bit rusty in their new craft, but do check their daily performance for a chance they obtain the power to make them re-appear again in the future.
 
Also for those crying about BoAs being unfair as mains can only buy. Honor Heirloom vendors are now in SW and Org next to the other PvP vendors. So yeah even a low level or missing expansion player can purchase heirlooms now.

That was a very good change for them to implement, can you ask them why they struggle to balance pvp so much? You seem to get good answers.

i posted before the servers got reset and the rings werent there. way to be an ass hole though, it worked out for you real well in this case
