Guardian druid for PvE LFG spam

jackblood

Veteran
Not looking to solo dungeons, but rather LFG-spam with rando groups and maximum pulls. Should I slot Steady Talasite or is there a better gem to stack? Need max survivability and tankiness :D

Also, Naga Hide over Elemental Force?

Not a lot of info on twinking for non-solo PvE. Thanks a ton!

If you're going exclusively for big pulls, go with https://www.wowhead.com/item=40167/regal-eye-of-zul or https://www.wowhead.com/item=40168/steady-eye-of-zul.

On my druid I get 0.23% Dodge Chance for every point of Dodge, and like 0.05% Dodge Chance for every point of Agility. You can either stack armor or dodge... depends on if you'd rather have flat damage mitigation or sporadic mitigation.

If you want to also do damage, then do agi/stam gems like Chops suggested.

Personally I use agi/crit gems on my druid when I tank (solo and group) because it does a crazy amount of damage. I'm usually around 50-60% of the total damage done for a dungeon. From experience, solo-queue dungeons go quicker when the tanks are twinked for damage. As an aside, my prot pally stacks strength/crit too.

As for weapons, go with Naga Hide if you want mitigation. Otherwise use https://www.wowhead.com/spell=20030/superior-impact on your 2H weapon. If you're using Claws/Fang, then do https://www.wowhead.com/spell=20031/superior-striking on MH and Elemental Force on OH. https://www.wowhead.com/spell=104440/colossus is another tank option.

I don't believe Naga Hide is usable anymore. It requires ilvl 37 weapon which used to be doable with Bramble, but that's been nerfed for a while.

Does the effect require a level 37 weapon? You could have a high level put the enchant on an heirloom

Naga hide will not work on a heirloom. It will only work on a non heirloom item that is or was eligible (ilv37+) this means that old ilv 37+ artifacts were the only ones able to have this and still work currently. Gfd.

unless you use one of those ilv37 grays.

I never had Naga work at 20 since they "fixed" it shortly after SL launch, I believe. Would rather hear it changed, but doubt it. Also note that super pulls are only as good as a healer that can keep up with you... I personally would do agi/stam so some lesser trash will just die as you go.

Also note that a stun, fear or disorient chain will end your massive pull pretty quick so good luck. ;)

edit- also 2 agi/stam for if you get fed up with LFG and decide to solo, nothing to change. :p
