Yea I have the gtx 970 and I'm fps capped at 99. I've played WoW and Diablo at the same time, it doesn't even care. Save yourself 700 bucks.

I can appreciate that, but if i'm gonna spend money i kinda wanna future proof my PC for up to like 6 years =/

No doubt it's a great card; if you are pushing 4K it might be worth it.

I built my entire PC for 1100 bucks during x-mas.

3.5 GHz i5-6600k
16 GB of DDR4
GTX 970
Samsung 500G SSD

I'm playing at 1200p, a little over HD and everything is on ultra.

Still need to overclock the CPU but the boot time is like 7 seconds right now, so it's not a huge deal lol. I would hope I get 6+ years...

Nothing you do needs one though, and 1000 series coming out soon
