Just like the fishing boots, they are getting moved up to another level. Meaning that you will NOT receive any stats from them even if they are equipped, and once you take it off that armor/weapon slot, it WILL NOT let you equip it again, probably giving you the message "Item level is too high"

No, u should get these items because the Quests won't be possible to do with 4.0.3.

If these items would be unusable, where is the point in gettin' them now?

Haha, some of you are talking about quest rewards and some about BoE's, you should get the quest items yes - cause you will still be able to use them when the quests are not available. But no, there is no point of equipping a BoE (that will have req lvl 20 later) now thinking it will work later if you have it equipped already, thats not how it works. It will be red and wont give you any stats (like engineering goggles after you have dropped engineering). Hope everyone understand now.
