The new expansion has screwed over all of my characters for the last time. I'm sick of spending thousands of hours and tens of thousands of gold to gear up my character only for Blizz to douche it all up every single god-damn time a new expansion comes out. I'm done, all the characters are deleted, personal guild is disbanded, and the first lucky rando I ran into in Orgrimmar got close to 50k gold.

I stopped playing PVP because I was sick of all the hunters ruining every game, but I kept my toons so I could PVE when I was bored. Now my favorite spec- Fury Warrior is trash and I have around 40 items that need to be replaced thanks to the green gear being shat on. I'm not spending hundreds more hours running the same damn dungeons praying for sockets to proc so that's it for me.

Now sound the cannons in memory of the fallen members of the guild Ðancing Panda:

Ðerpy- the shaman
Ðerp- the warrior
Ðerpyderp- the priest
Ðerps- the rogue
Ðerped- the hunter
Ðerping- the monk
Ðerpeh- the mage
and the newest member, Ðerpette- a level 11 death knight

Fact is, if you can't adapt you probably should have not bothered twinking in the first place. IOW you were no damn good to begin with. All you got is pay to win gear and no skill. All you have to do now, is play an alt, farm heirlooms and fill the other slots with BIS. Remember, lev35+ TBC enchants!

What joke? Guy is looking for a pity party and I'm not celebrating. Game changed.. oh boo hoo hoo.. just like it has since it first came online. You don't throw a hissy fit and dump all you have, you adapt and deal with it. If all this guy has is gear, he shouldn't be playing, he'll get trashed by the first skilled lev19 free acct twink he runs into. The guy's whole post reminded me of that 1 kid..."OH YEAH? Well I'm taking my ball and I am going home..." for you millennials that is a reference to when kids played outside, like pick up baseball games and such.
So the game changed. You adapt. You don't go on a forum crying about it like a snot nosed 7 year old who got pitched out without a swing.

PPS "You chose to leave classic". The only time you could progress from wow classic to the next expac (TBC) was at launch of TBC. You stayed or moved to a TBC server. Currently, this is no longer an option. If you start on a wow classic server, you stay there. So had the OP stayed on his original server, nothing would have changed.

I mean, if the games changed in such a way that its no longer a game you want to play or creates an inverse incentive re: time spent vs reward, then its fine for people to say goodbye and walk away.

Some guy posing as a tough love, hardcore real-talk badass online doesnt change that.

Looked like a rant from where I am sitting. No "Farewell my friends" anywhere to be seen.
You don't see me posting about not playing wow live for years because they nerfed my warlock to the point a new lev 90 (at the time) did higher dps than a 100 lock, do you? I don't play live now, i just don't like the world changes. (level 60 kobalds in the starter zone???) Level 60 "Gloves of the fang???"

the next time someone posts a goodbye, I'll make sure to send them your way for approval first. Gotta make sure people quit the game in a manner that doesnt upset some guy who hasnt played or posted on the forums in almost a decade.

Garregish let the man have his goodbye, if he wants to leave the wow scene let him do so, anybody who spent at least a decent amount of time doing something will want to quit ''officialy'' in order to truly quit (here WoW but anything else like any activity or even a job). It's a step as it helps telling yourself "okay this time it's done for good" you don't have to be a douche to him, not everyone has the patience and the time to always re-gear at the rythm Blizz breaks stuff.

Cya derp I hope you have a good one and find a new game you can get behind. I also kinda feel burned out with the diea of regearing all my toons ( some I cant because the dungeons are broken atm) and farming down sockets on rng peices.

Luckily I like just doing dungeons and pew pewing things so I will stay.
