Good Priest cant beat Good rogue PROVED.

So after me seeing the Maelstrom vs Omgmom movie and seeing Omgmom lose i couldnt believe it.



Me(Priest) and Ryrith(Rogue) have been duelling in Darnassus 24/7,



I`ve been trying to beat him i beat alot of Average rogues, but not Ryrith.

Ive tried countless things checked countless priest movies out, and after we came to the Conclusion a Good priest cant kill a Good Rogue.



We proved this we managed to get Maelstrom one of the best priest in the US, On my priest(EU Draenor) that is maxed out and he fighted Ryrith, and Ryrith won.

#1 Rng

#2 Latency issues on both end's

#3 stop ass kissing ryrith

Funny topic is funny. What actually happened was this. I went to EU, and told him my screen would freeze for about .5 seconds after every ability used, so don't expect much. We played two games on EU, the first one he was at 400 or so health with me at full sp mana, he misclicked sprint a bit earlier in the match and since he was about to lose and seemingly misclicked an ability or two he left. Then the next game in Blades we dueled and while I made him agm/herb I couldn't finish him due to not even being able to cast two spells in a row due to my .5 freezes inbetween abilities. Then we played four games on US, they varied from me beating him with near full SP mana and not using herb/agm to him getting me to pop herb and agm(he said his ms was around 500 during those duels) Overall the series went 5-1 me.



Edit: I'm sure Ryrith will confirm this, oh and this is Maelstrom btw
 
I'd have to say in arena that a on equivalent skill it would go something like this.

bad rogue vs. bad priest. bad rogue wins

mediocre rogue vs. mediocre priest. mediocre rogue wins

average rogue vs. average priest. average rogue should win slightly more often

decent rogue vs. decent priest. priest should win slightly more often

good rogue vs. good priest. priest wins

acknowledgeable rogue vs. acknowledgeable priest. Priest wins.



Looking at the break up between utility priests far outweigh rogues. A draenei priest will have almost 2k more health after GoTN and AGM (rogues can't dispel).
 
so I'm assuming u had glyph of inner fire like maelstrom? Ryrith have SR gear?



either of these factors would have made a huge difference.

Yeah he had the glyph I believe. And he didn't have SR gear...but sr gear is overkill.

I can conform this ye but not everything was true, I played with rather bad MS 500-600, I couldn't restealth against Maelstrom on those duels.

Basically my playstyle is about restealthing and the MS made stealth pop 1 sec longer than usually. I couldnt resteatlh you just re-dotted me etc, as said we didn't play with equal circumstances. The first duel my binds were fucked up as I said then I left ofc, I'm not used to play with this bad MS cuz I couldn't DMG you at all, 3 yards away ''NOT ENOUGH RANGE''. At EU I won pretty fast dont overdo it-

Theres a handful of rogues who could prob hold record on me. And not to be cocky or anything like that, but if I lose to them...so does every other priest. People underestimate well played rogues, and luckily not too many rogues have discovered spirit weapons >.>
 
Aww, I play roguey btw! Woulda been a neat vid, I hate fighting priests personally, the fights are too long (I'm actually better against shammy's than priests lmao) my A.D.O.S. tends to kick in(thats attention deficit... OH! SHINY!!!!). MS can be a pain, have you guys checked the old guide on here about lowering it? I don't believe theres a conclusive one for macs, but the PC one definitely works.

@everyone: I always have 500 ms so stop making excuses. its not as bad as you guys are makin it out to be.
