disc -> rsham = mw -> hpal. The rsham=mw part is iffy, but I personally think Rsham is slightly better.

get 6k hp and you will have good survivability as all healers, they are pretty balanced among each other IMO with disc being best

Sorry, I forgot resto druids. I'd definitely consider druids above hpals - chiefly because of their mobility.

All healers are good. As long as a healer does their correct duties and dispels and CCs the correct people, they all do just fine. Each have their and negatives, it just depends on the player's style of which they like best.
Some people like to be to the "top healer" on the charts by padding their numbers with fluff. Some people could care less about charts. Some people are agressive players and like to follow melee around. Where as others like to stand with the casters.
Each healing class has a role to play for each style of player.
Myself, I could care about healing charts and I like to run with the melee groups or defend the FC. So I play a highly defensive "style" healer that has good mitigation, CCs, and dispels.
