I hope so. Never can be too careful nowadays. I keep telling people internet “friends” are not like real life friends. The social interaction just isn’t on the same level. You can make them real life friends if you choose though. It’s very wise to know the difference.
If you do choose to meet with people you have met on the internet meet in a public place and don’t go straight home afterwards. Caution is the key.
