Was Testing some old JC meta gems and ran into one that will make you shit yourself!!

This stupid meta can proc on 70's with 1200 haste rating!!! Beyond rediculous! The meta is called:

http://www.wowhead.com/item=32411. Absolutely crazy! The downside to this meta isn't the proc rate, but the inner cooldown. It has like 1min cooldown tops.
Ignoring the other viable metas, just thought I'd mention this god-like gem!

My rogue buddy is going to design bis hast pieces and trinks. racial s,flasks,heroism,he's combat for the melee speed. weps with haste! I have no doubt we can get him to about 700% I bet his swing time would be like .30 or below.
 
I have just acquired the meta gem for personal testing and unlike what is stated here, the haste rating boost is merely 480, as it always has been.

I should add that I tried it on my hunter, and even with AoE damage, the proc rate is absurdly low and it only lasts 5s with an internal CD of up to a minute.

Certainly not worth it until proven otherwise.

Edit: Upon further inspection of the screenshots provided, the buff reads, "Skyfire Swiftness", whereas the buff I have witnessed in-game is, "Skyflare Switfness". Perhaps the OP was referring to the level 70 version and not the 80 one?

Wow i appologize! You guys are correct, i messed up on my words, they sound so alike and i got confused haha.

The meta granting 1200 haste is indeed the burning crusade Skyfire diamond. sorry >.<

Well I can confirm that the Thundering Skyfire Diamond indeed proc's for 1200 melee/ranged haste.

What are you talking about?

Edit: Let me explain what my problem is or was.

Priest melee's target dummy = meta procs.
Priest melee's players in a bg = impossible to get a meta proc.

Does the meta not proc in pvp at all or did the meta not proc in pvp because i tried it with a priest?

How much haste does Shaman flurry give again?


Also, there is a similar gem for casters, according to the WoWhead buff it gives 800 haste rating;:

Enhance shaman's have the best type of flurry of all. Their flurry gives 25% increase and also increases benefits from haste on gear by 75%! It's pretty fun indeed. Black magic to weapons pretty powerful for any melee weapon as long as you got some sort of proc or ele damage spell. his includes procs off trinkets and such too. Also, enchant weapon hurricane can stack 90 haste rating twice which is pretty neat.
