I love sub but the time on target damage drops so hard after the initial burst while combat has 5 combo rs evis ;-;

I wouldn't necessarily say they are crippling themselves, both have their advantages

2x Shadowfang is better for quick burst damage, because the white hit does a good amount of damage once you ambush
SF + Screwdriver would be better after the initial ambush, because it would be better DPS from the extra poison procs

Both have their advantages, its up to playstyle really

As far as i remember you can't kill in an ambush-initial swings-eviscerate atm with these 4k+ healthpools. Thus on the long term youd rather have higher sustained dps.

That is correct, in the math breakdown section it was shown that the over all tot (time on target) damage is better with OH dagger so that shouldn't really be a question
