I Would say stick with the Tunic of Westfall, not only does it the highest agility but makes you look like an og swag lord

I'd say boa chest is an even better option mainly because it's free and with its good amount of crit and stam it's lots more useful in more situations than max damage gloom shroud

Wrong. Hunters are all but forced to play around their scope proc and in scope proc crit will have a higher value than agility (more crits = more dmg basically) making the 2? Agi you get from tunic over gloom in trade for a ton of crit not worth it.

So hunters should basically go max crit build and not care about agi?

no, gloom is just a better stat distributed chest than tunic. the 2 or whatever agi you gain vs glooms crit does way less dmg in the long run

Allright, I get your point. Do you have any calculations to back up this claim, though? Think I read somewhere that 1agi = 4 crit for a hunter, and 1 agi = 2,5 crit with a scope proc, which would make tunic better.

you have it backwards 90% sure. 2.5 crit = 1agi and 1agi = 4 crit in scope

i had it backwards but from fancys guide 2.5 crit > 1agi in scope proc while 1 agi < 4 crit w/o scope

so basically the only time tunic would be marginally better is when you dont have a scope proc up

Drink bleach moron. Gloom is still bis just because of scope and will do more damage in the end so he's still basically wrong even after my number confusion. The difference is basically unnoticeable but for damage only it's going to be gloom>tunic>Boa

And even then 75% of the time boa is better for the stam

If you assume that it's 1 agility = 2.5 crit with gun proc and 1 agi = 4 crit without gun proc, either way 6 crit comes out on top.

The reason why I asked is because I have 2 hunters.

One with BoA chest and defias belt and another with Tunic of Westfall and 5/5/5 dungeon belt.
I can only afford one item atm so it's either gloom for the one with boa chest&defias och defias belt for the one with Tunic of westfall?
