wait about a month ask a gm to restore.
If that doesnt work,
call blizzard and tell them you have to go to camp for 11 out of 12 months of the year and if it was unbound it would make your 1month of wow enjoyable.

(a group of us had a heap of shadowfangs unbound this way)

The bug was fixed and this has been tried numerous times, only for Blizz to give a response saying they can't unbind it and that they're "sorry for the loss".
