I think the damage reduction of versatility is also a very undervalued stat, then again I look at it from a possible FC perspective normally.

wonder how having a hybrid of those enchants would play out , like stacking some versa and some crit for ring/neck/back

why is that, i did some damage calculations and if i'm not mistaken versatility should theoretically give more dmg increase than crit

A steady 5-7% dmg increase is easier to deal with from a healing perspective than sporadic crits hitting for big damage. Crit should land more KBs giving your team the advantage.

it's 14% dmg, and 7% dmg reduction. I think a 14% increase in dmg is significant especially in comparison to your values of 5-7%

Sorry didn't have wow open to give accurate stats. Ya I guess 14% is a solid dmg increase but I would rather take a higher crit due to the fact you can still land more KBs. A versatility build will do more overall damage but imo a crit build should land more KBs. Burst generally wins in this bracket, but in the end its all preference and play styles.

edit: I would take a crit build to an extent. Crit enchant on cloak, neck, and rings should suffice, along with stillwaters and lavish. Stam on woodworking gloves and bracers is still needed (for pugs at least) for survivability.

Just get 33.33% anything more is completely up to preference.

Stam is also a great stat for boomkins, as you said, for survivability and also if they get a quick pick and need to FC for a bit in bear form.
