Getting Delevelled

Call customer support, if you keep putting in tickets they will suspend you but that is about all they will do unless you continue to report. Most of the GMs are very unhelpful and do not really care/cant do anything about your problems unless in some cases you get a GM that actually has some pull. I have never had a toon deleveled but I have one that was restored after several months of deleting it, so they can do it, its just a matter of finding someone that is willing/has the power to do so. GL and I wish you the best of luck on your endeavor.

Spoke with a guy from customer service over the phone this afternoon, who also gave me an interesting piece of information - it is possible to remove levels from a character, but it results in the character being unplayable. He went to ask his superior about restoring Meat to level 70 (i.e. to a point prior to a server transfer), but apparently there was no question about, he was just told no.

I've pretty much given up now, doubt I will ever have my character delevelled.

This is so frustrating since I've been told by two GMs that it is technically possible to restore him back to 70, but have been prevented from doing so simply because it is not Blizzard policy to allow this service after 7 days has passed, and my case does not warrant an exception. So basically Blizzard are losing a customer because they won't do something they are easily able to do (nice logic yo).

Thanks for all the help guys, I appreciate all the advice you've given, but I'll most likely be leaving at the end of this month.

dude, tell him to roll u back 7 days, wait a day, call again and ask em to roll u back 7 days. repeat till ur 70?

Do you think that would actually work? Can they rollback individual characters or would it be the entire account?

If ur as close to a mental breakdown as it looks on ur previous typing theres no harm in trying is there? and i have no idea but the hunter seems very important to you.

I've put one last ticket in, asking for an exception to the 7-day rollback rule, citing the presence of an artifical weekly honor cap on my character as a reason (yeah, thats why I can't play it at 90 - I can't gain more than 1800 honor per WEEK [which also happens to be Blizzard's fault]).

My 19 twink got deleveled,
I fell trough Dalaran after exiting a BG and explored Crystalsong Forest getting me to lvl 20.

I made a forum post and a GM replied to me in-game after reading it only 2 hours later and deleveled me in less than a minute.

That's awesome man ^^

The main problem in my case is that it's been such a long time (about 5 weeks) since I levelled, so even though there is nothing physically stopping them from restoring me back to 70, they refuse to due to protocol.

Sucks right?

Never level a twink, you always end up regretting it, I sure did with all the 19s I leveled up I had since tbc :p
