Gearing a 99 twink

Obviously 3 crafted, and then old sets + quest items. Do you quest in spires of arak as well as nagrand for poosible upgrades, or are the only good items from nagrand?

Also, how are ferals at 99?

-Yes to the (3) Draenor pcs.
-Garrison Rare Missions that give 610 iLvL gear. The ones that give 615 we can't wear.
-Timewalking, Timewalking, Timewalking.
-Yes to finishing all Spires and Nagrand Quests, there are some really good pcs if you get them to improve (with a War Mill ofc).
-Treasures/Rares in both Zones (we've confirmed that the War Mill doesn't effect the improvement).
-Daily quest via the Tavern as well as Skyreach runs until you want to stab puppies to see color.
-SoO Mythic 2-4 pc for PvE (if you can get into runs, lucky for you that's not a problem).
-Certain old gear for PvP (only until Legion drops).
-Ferals aren't nearly as OP at 99 as they are at lower levels, Blood DK is quite OP though.

If you PvE than go with 615+ on every slot (except waist, farm a 600 with 3rd stat in skyreach and put a 75 gem into it if it's worth it). You can get 615 from Timewalker Dungeons at 99 and Timewarped Warforged procs. And also from 585+ green quest rewards and 595+ blue quest rewards with advanced procs from War Mill.

If you PvP it differs from what you want. Most dmg? 4pc contender, 2pc / 4pc prideful or some other set items. Then you have to calculate if pvp power from prideful gives more dmg then an pve item you got. And not always is using a warlords crafted weapon the best choice. Same goes with trinkets.

PvP: Ferals are okay. Fury-Warriors, Frost- and Blood-DKs are strongest atm but keep in mind that you can compete with every class. 'cause most of the times you don't fight twinks, just 90s. And most of the twinks are wearing wrong gear 'cause they don't know how scaling works in this bracket.

There is only one mission for 610 shoulders which aren't BiS.

I'm using my 91 twinks for pve for sure. I was just looking for pvp, and decided to just try feral.

Got that setup so far, and waiting for timewalking to come back to fill in the rest with 615s. Also do need contenders still.
