<Games too Hard> US PvE Horde

Jirat

Legend
Games too Hard

is recruiting like minded individuals who want to raid all of 60/70/80 and possibly 85 content with 9 other people.

We are located on Zul'jin horde in USA.

Our current goal at the moment, is to take a group of 10 people through classic, BC, Wotlk, & cataclysm content, through hard modes, elite modes, and our custom crafted hard modes. Now you might ask, what are "custom crafted hard modes." Well while adv

Current Content: Classic - Molten Core

Our current form of progression that we're intending to take on is to defeat every boss in one given tier, and if people feel like they hadn't had enough of the end boss we will continue to kill it up to a max of 5 more times, this does not mean we will allow them to slackoff in order to stay in that tier for whatever reason but we give everyone a fair shot at their goals in this guild. After we have decided we'd had enough or have downed it 5 times, we will move on to the next tier, regardless of gear, as we will be keeping content thats on farm, and continue to farm it if necessary.

Now this only applies to classic/BC content. Once we reach wotlk/cata if and hope to make it that far, we will add 2 new requirements to moving onto a new tier.

The first of which will of course be downing every boss in normal mode, but also in heroic/hard mode.

The second of which we'll clear the meta achievements. This gives more of a sense of accomplishment and the rule factoring to whether someone has had their fill of 5 kills is no longer a factor. If for whatever reason we finish the meta and complete it on heroic/hard mode we will still abide by this to keep everything in check & fair.

Now you ask how we will do this. What will our roster look like, what if we need another tank, or another healer, or even a few more.

This is where we ask all of our core to roll at least 2 alts, we don't expect them to be at our level range within days, but we do ask them to be there asap as this will help smooth progression & not keep us stuck. After all, our idea here is progress.

Our roster will look like this at least for classic, possibly some minor adjustments for further tiers.

Warrior - Main Tank/Dps (very situational)

Paladin - Off Tank/Dps (1 tank fights)

Priest - Main Heal/Will be comfortable in both holy/disc specs

Druid - Off heal/Tank (this will make sure that in conjunction with resto shaman we'll be able to compensate for three tank fights)

Shaman - Ele/Resto (as stated above, will go resto when we need a use for second/third healer)

Warlock - Dps (Very obvious, but the highlights of this player will come from how he plays each spec & what fights he can utilize their strengths for)

Mage - Dps (Same as warlock)

Hunter - Dps (same as warlock)

S*Priest - Dps/Heal (This will probably be one of the most influential players in our core as they must be comfortable in all 3 specs, able to switch in a fly, this player will be our prime savior in some tough progression fights)

Rogue - Dps (same as warlock)

In addition to our core we'll have 2 backup rosters. The first will be named Backup-1 and second will be Backup-2. These players are the ones who are either in line for a core roster spot until we decide we could utilize them or our core spot for their class is missing. These backup rosters can contain any class but still must abide by our specs as our specs in each class are maintained for a reason. As a reminder again, our class spec roster may & can change at any time, especially during new brackets.

We are currently recruiting

Warrior - Core/Backup-1/2

Paladin - Backup-1/2

Priest - Core/Backup-1/2

Druid - Core/Backup-1/2

Shaman - Core/Backup-1/2

Warlock - Core/Backup-1/2

Mage - Backup-1/2

Hunter - Core/Backup-1/2

S*Priest - Core/Backup-1/2

Rogue - Core/Backup-1/2

What we expect of our Core

~ You must be able to attend all main raid hours with an above 80% attendance. I was considering 90% but sometimes more than just real life such as computer failures.

~ You must be under the understanding that we don't do this for loot, we don't do it for the shiny epics & stat bonuses. Those are just another "flask" to us. A buff to help us, if really want to try & persist through it, we'd attempt it in grey gear and go hardcore, but we still want to have a bit of fun without banging our heads into the monitor. The main reason I'm in this is to see if 10 players can go through classic/bc content with 10 people, the reason I want to take a group of different classes is to spread out loot, again to make an easier time,

~ Must be able to competently play all 3 (4 if your a druid) specs well enough to at least pull 80% of the dps required. 80% is lowballing it as well, some fights in late classic & BC will be very dps race like.

~ Must be willing to at least level up 2 professions for your core main. Alts do not matter, but will generally help overall

~ Be understanding of most of the fights, you can just wowpedia anything & everything for the fights, if you cannot find out how a specific ability works we ask you must wowhead the ability & read the comments. It can be time consuming but your in the core and we expect you to prepare for it.

~ You cannot & will not wear any gear in guild raids that you have not earned from our raids, this includes boe's unless they are world drops. An example of this would be tier 1 belt/bracers. The reason we do this is so we don't have tier 3 geared or aq40 geared players stepping into our mc/bwl runs. This rule will expand further into bc/wotlk/cata. An example of this again in BC is to not bring tier 6 gear into a tier 4 raid unless we have cleared tier 6.

This may be alot to ask for a small group of people but we want to basically succeed at what we're doing, and we want to find like minded individuals.

We will not expect all of this from the backups, but you still must pertain to them all when your in our raid.

I must also stress, CROSS REALM RAIDERS will only be allowed for backups. And we will not allow them until we have a full core. If you are cross realm we expect you to bring your own flasks, food & still be up in par as far as rest of the group gear wise. Carrying is much easier to do in classic content now, but its not pleasant.

Our raid times are not set in stone. Since we are not promoting a large community of upwards 20+ people we will tune our times on a first come first serve basis. If your one of our first core we will "attempt" to make times meet everyones schedule. Its not guranteed we can fit it, but we will do our best. We're aiming at evenings/late nights for starters.

Our in-game contacts for any further questions & interest are

Vynlann (GM), Dangerwithin (Officer). If you want my Btag, PM me, I have had issues with spam invites posting my btag publicly so I will not do it again. You can also contact anyone in the guild & we'd be more than happy to answer any general questions and if a GM or officer is on an alt we can direct you to him
