With the coming of the BoA tab i now have acceptable geared toons of all class/specs. My friend/arena partner has all class/specs aswell. I've been looking for a fun arena comp to play. I would like to see some suggestions on 2v2 arena comps that you find the most fun/satisfying! Remember fun doesn't always necessarily mean winning every game or FoTM. Please tell us your opinion and why!
Hei!
Here are some fun comps I enjoy in 2v2 (I probly forgot some buut better than nothing!):
Healer + DPS comps (most of this I've played as either the healer or the dps):
Rsham/Priest x Mage. (By far the most fun I've had in this bracket in 2v2. And thx to the buff to RestoShaman dmg in 6.1 its rly fun)
Rsham/Priest x WWmonk (maybe abit to stronk)
Rsham/Priest x Warrior (also rly good, fun if you want to try out the "new" fury warrior.)
Priest/Rsham x Rogue (So many ppl play BMmonks and Warriors, this might get alittle bit frustrating for the rogue becouse of that fucking slow)
Rsham/Priest x Warlock (This is actually rly fun comp aswell, warlock so underrated and probly one of the best counters to the most played Fotm shit that is feral druids.)
Rsham/Priest x Ret (This comp will beat most 29's in 2v2. Haven't rly lost much playing this. Kinda fotm)
2x DPS comps:
Ret x Mage. (dangerous as fuk, one frost nova and it might be game over.)
Ret x Warlock. (pretty good burts, CC, offheal/selfheal)
WW x Mage (This one is going to be hard vs those 29 comps but it might work).
Mage/Warlock x Rogue (I haven't tried it but it might work?)
[to be filled in more, my brain is slow today]
Explination why I left out a few classes:
Druids - w/e spec you choose you basicly end up building 5x Combopoints and then win the game.
Holy Paladin - Weak heals, has to spamheal 24/7 to survive all the double dps comps that's like 90% of the bracket, no fun
MW Monks - This might be rly fun, I just haven't played it yet. But from what I've seen fits better into the 3v3 skrims.
Any other class/spec I left out I probly haven't played or either just forgot that I did
"why so much Rshaman/Priest?" - I duno, I just end up playing them alot when we do mirror wargames or skirmish 2v2.
My recomendation is do like your friend and make alot of alts and try change comp every now and then. It's rly fun and something I'm doing atm both in skrimishes and in inhouse wargames.
