Frostscythe of Lord Ahune ......is this bis?

i farmed the event boss Lord Ahune for his Frostscythe of Lord Ahune yesterday by makeing a character (i chose vulperia right next to exp eliminator)
before i would even log into my new character i would mail that new character 10 gold for the exp off
then i would put on my heirlooms set up skill bar turn off exp and go into lfd and id pub into the dungeon with Lord Ahune from the event
the drop is in the bag you get from first time doing the event a day so if i did not get it i would delete my character and start all over again takes about 10 mins a run
9 hours later.......... im now the happy owner of a Frostscythe of Lord Ahune on my lvl 10 monk with exp off which is a epic weapon that is under ilvl 50 so it is able to be enchanted with life steal
what do you guys think is this actually bis for a lvl 10 mistweaver monk or did i just waste 9 hours of my life????

(p.s. took my friend 2 hours man was i jelly)

How does weapon damage work while in an int spec?

Would a weapon like https://www.wowhead.com/item=143327/livestock-lochaber-axe that has higher weapon damage and dps than comparable staves perform well? Or is it intellect only for damage output.

I’m starting to gear my old Misty and I don’t believe weapon damage does anything for Misty other than auto-hit. It’s all about Int.

i guess there are other weapons that are better in combo with a off hand but so far all that ive been shown you have a 1 time shot at it being a epic upgrade from a mission reward so there not really reliable to be able to farm at least this one is farmable at the very beginning of your character then when u got it you can farm the rest of your toons gear

so as far as i can tell this is bis in terms of everyone is able to farm with a close to a guarantee of obtaining it as long as you put the time in and so long as the event is active then you can farm the rest of your gear after you obtain it where the other options that could be better you have no guarantee and it will take alot more time and effort to get to the point of rolling the dice for those options

@ Level 10 there are better farmable weapons/items that proc warforged or epic ilvl 59

Last time I checked they get 110% of SP as AP. Weapon dmg doesn't matter
