EU+US Frost mage's glacial spike

Hey peeps,

I am running on my mage (see signature) and i'm trying to pull big hits on bosses.
Max I got was around 7 mil.

Usually crits around 4 mil and normal hits are around 1.7 mil.

Any frost mages out there can tell me how to get bigger hits?

Weird thing is the black ice artifact golden trait... I can never seem to do anything with that.

I changed all my crit gems to mastery gems.. Not much difference. I find that I need more crit for GS.
It's still good overall but im wondering if I am missing something.

My Highest was 32 million on lord kazzak and a higher mastery setup wins for GS. Sometimes I get 6 mil non crits and sometime 4 mil crits it all depends on if your frostbolts shatter and then the GS shatters as well.

Kazzak increases your damage by 100%, which will go into your stored icicles and then also be applied to your Glacial Spike damage, so not a very good boss to measure on

Obviously I know that. But in terms of non critter SC hits 32 million is pretty fucking awesome.
