From one faction to Another

If I faction change my toon from 1 faction to the other but I have completed all 3 zones, if I changed, would the new faction 3 zones be done or 3 more items for loot?

Does anyone know if this is the same on other continent for other levels, lets say Northrend or Outland I have plans on faction changing my 69 DK.

It only affects faction specific content, so for example, if you faction changed in legion, stormheim is mostly reset because of the faction specific questlines. At 69, i doubt much would reset past the horde/ally specific quest hubs like in dragonblight. Anything faction nuetral (like argent crusade) would still be completed
