A step by step guide to rejuvenating the trial community.
1) 2v2 arena
2) 3v3 arena
3) 5-6 player premades
4) Bring in 4 lesser experienced players and continue to practice until 10man is competitive.
6) With 15-16 player ab premades are the next rung
7) With 20 players full wsg premades are possible
9) Once we have 20 players on board we can field skirmishes anywhere in-game
NOTE: For any scheduled event, whether 2s or massive wpvp complete understanding of all information is essential for EVERY participant.
I cannot emphasize this point enough. When an event is delayed or interrupted, especially due to
inconsideration or lack of preparation, it literally guts everything. You will have people leave. Time is precious.
You will have people troll and disrupt (younger players mostly). You will undercut every step forward thus far.
Reliability and confidence in organization are the most important qualities required to maintain interest and consequently community.
TL;DR
Start small and manageable
Do not overestimate your resources (ie players)
Include and nurture anyone who is passionate about partaking
When enough momentum is gained, capitalize and reward everyone who helped get us there
Do not waste too much time splitting hairs about creative ideas for wpvp
Do not ever, ever, post a start date and time you are not completely confident will not change
Fun > egos

7) With 20 players full wsg premades are possible
This allows for synergy to be dialed in for both teams
Players should alternate on both teams
8) Underpowered premades for fun. Alcohol encouragedPlayers should alternate on both teams

Final thoughts
- Every event needs at the very least one person taking the reigns and one p2p
- Larger events should be lead by one person and other lead roles ought to be answering to whoever is number one. Same for p2ps
- While the actual grouping is happening all organization should be a separate conversation. Small talk between participants is encourage just not at the sake of organization
- Everyone must be held accountable to prevent loss of momentum
- TI Forums, Youtube, Twitch etc should be used
