If i personally were making a shammy i would use Smites Reaver all the time even if i was already hit capped, but thats just my preferance. Beside that id use Skeletal Club as my main weapon and keep a Stinging Viper in the bag.
This is all assuming you dont have access to BoA items, in which case you should just get a sp mace. (i do reccomend getting an 80)
There may be situations where you find yourself chasing down a FC alone, dont forget to bring a 2hander for these cases. like i said before, smites mighty hammer, nightreaver, something that can put out big numbers.
