Forsaken aren't Undead?

I think the answer is no, but are Forsaken considered undead in regards to damage modifiers against undead?

thanks.

edit: in hind-sight i should have asked if NPC forsaken are undead.

Actually the undead/forsaken race were "undead" in PVP, the first beta of wow. They changed it though cause of pallys had advantage meeting them.

Hmmm, what about Godfrey? Is he considered undead or forsaken???

I was thinking about IAT's godfrey quest. yeah, it's been derailed by the WG attempt, but these would both help against godfrey (assuming he's undead)...if someone horde-side is considering it that is.

unlock your thread IAT. How 'bout we all get the power to lock/unlock our own threads for our own convenience?

im not to sure who/what godfrey is, but neither of those items would be of any help in a pvp scenario except against a deathknight's pet, or if the deathknight used lichborne.

godfrey is the last boss in SFK. he was foresaken, working for silvanas, but then decided to go his own way and now lives in SFK. killing him in a group when you're just a butthair under level 20 would probably put you up to level 21. i'd put all this in IAT's thread, but you know...its locked.

looking again at Wowwiki, they list him as undead, so the consumables would help when you're trying to 2-man him...if wowwiki is correct.

Yes, Godfrey is considered Undead.

Killing him is fully doable, I'm now investigating whether 22 is possible. I won't attempt Godfrey because I have a toon lined up to go to 22. I was never 100% certain that 21 was doable to begin with, and even then it would be only barely. The WSG strategy will take you well into 22.5.

Soloing Godfrey is pretty hard though. Or are you planning to be atleast 2?

At one point, Forsaken weren't subject to extra damage that paladins would do against undead, but I remember at one point in WotLK, Blizz changed their minds and Exorcism was tearing Forsaken into pieces in PvP. I don't know if they've reverted that or not.

Oh, and PLAYER Forsaken were considered Undead until patch 1.3, for anyone wondering.

Exo was OP.

Yeah already stated that, was so fun to be a paladin back then. "Yes here comes forsaken so I can do exorcism ftw!"

You never said which patch

From the Sleeveless T-Shirt's message: ''Earl-Z Moad...'' (E-Z mode) makes reference to the period in WoW time when Paladins had a clear advantage over undead players with their Exo ability.

Wearing that shirt is like wearing a little piece of WoW's history

Food for thought

IIRC, Paladins also had an ability called Turn Undead which was basically a fear spell for undead targets. I remember there being many complaints about paladins having the ability to fear undead players for a very long time using Turn Undead. (Remember: way back in the day, CC abilities were not limited to 15 second durations in PVP) Now, that's just hearsay as I was neither an undead nor a paladin at the time that spell was available.
