Formal Dangui Confirmation?

Someone on wowhead is claiming that Greater Rune of Warding no longer works on a formal dangui. They say the buff shows up on a low level but nothing happens.



Can anyone out there test this? If its true i'm going to be quite pissed.

Where exactly on WoWhead does somebody say that [ITEM]Greater Rune of Warding[/ITEM] no longer works on [ITEM]Formal Dangui[/ITEM], the only comment that I see that could possibly even point in that direction is one made by me, asking if the [ITEM]Greater Rune of Warding[/ITEM] requires lvl 60 to take effect once you are wearing the [ITEM]Formal Dangui[/ITEM], i did not say that it doesn't work, here's what I said:



if i was to use greater rune of warding with it, would i have to attach the run with a higher level character then mail the dangui back to my lvl 1 twink, and would the rune actually do anything, or does it require lvl 60 to take effect and give me the 400 pts of damage absorbtion, thanks
 
As far as i know (from a week ago), this still works.



We were fucking around with on TB doing some duels.



I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Greater Rune of warding comments, second to last at the bottom of the page



"Has anyone tried this since 3.0 on a 19 twink? I applied it to the dangui, mailed it to my 19 rogue, but I never saw the bubble go off. It showed the "Greater Rune of Warding (45 min) thing on the dangui, but it didn't seem to actually work. Anyone else?"



the response he got was just rhetoric, we need someone who actually has one to test it.
 
i have one it still works when it procs u do not gain any buffs u do not see any thing u just see absorb on ur combat log if u have one other wise ud never know u had it

Also if you guys didnt know, the Wotlk enchant of 250 mana works on the formal dangui

yup, found that out last week. if anyone out there has the cash we should really try all the LK chest chants on a dangui because to my knowledge the only ones that have been tested are the stat ones.

Maybe a GM ticket is a free way of doing this.

so regardless the Rune/Dangui is still best for Rogues since it has been confirmed?
 
I'd almost consider transferring to get a hold one if I had the money (in game), the 250 mana and rune of warding would make my healdin-tank beyond awesome.
 
I tried stats health and mana.

if you really end up needing one, my friend is selling one with 250 mana in the auction house section
 
thats an exploit though...

but i'll try finding a dangui on which i could try it out, if th ehealth one works, my warrior will become a beast !



by the way...

warrior + counterweight and glove haste = 85% faster attacks out of his giant weapon. awesome shit there !
