Flag Carrying Tricks.

The below video isnt mine, stating that up front, but I knew it would help a lot of future FC's making a druid for the new patch. Enjoy.

All FCs have their own ways of maneuvering.

I won't delete this one, but I normally would. Future ones will be deleted though.

I found the image quite entertaining as I have never seen such an image so huge.

People like this need to stay the Æ’uck out of wsg. Terrian exploiting so you can cap flags is not cool.

i actually agree with this, whilst the clever (obvious?) things such as hiding in the doorways is something i do on a regular basis im not sure i agree with the glitching of the walls at GY, tbh l2p speed pot and be done with it, thats my usual tactic^^

well, once it catches on you can't really do anything but learn it

on my battlegroup i first experimented with the fence about 2 years ago, when it seemed like almost noone did it. eventually i learned most of the tricks to it and did get bashed a little bit for it and sometimes even got hateful tells that i was hacking.

but as time passed and people started to learn how to jump on the fence, less people complained and more people accepted the way terrain works. now very few people complain about the fence hopping.

then i make a character on ruin and learn that there are hundreds of players that seem to know pretty much all of the jumps. it can be a nuisance to me since i only know how to work the horde fence, but i can't really complain. either i can learn the jumps or i can deal with it. and that's the bottom line.

Those jumps would be better if the stumps could actually be used or los :( It works great against a melee toon, but range....not so much.

That image was waaaayyyy tooooo looooonnnnnggggg.

The terrain is there to be used cleverly. There's no exploiting here, just a player clever and good enough to use what they have to their advantage. If it's a problem for you, then you should probably learn to do it as well and you'll negate their advantage.

Neffi has a point. If you could do it aswell as that, you would do it. No-one can argue.

Some of those tricks are insane- I didn't know about half of them. I'm not sure whether part of them are terrain exploits (like walljumping) but some change the course of a game completely if used correctly, like the one where you enter the alliance GY from underneath. I definitely will try them out.

People argue about the exact same thing in arenas. People actually argued that in arenas LoS was used cleverly. Granted I won't speak personally for the design's fairness, but I'm amazed at what people will complain about. Terrain obstacles are important. Without them you're dealing with a damn boring and completely 2-dimensional game (in both literal and metaphorical senses). I'm thoroughly annoyed that people consider them a bad thing.

I mean, FFS learn to use them and it wouldn't be such a problem. You can't blame other people for your own ignorance.

I doubt if the wall jumping part works anymore anyway. The physics of the game's walls got a little bit of a tweak a few patches ago and it pretty much killed wall jumping.
