Do I have to wait for the corresponding NPC to be up to fish for his reputation items?

for example: If I want to gain Reputaiton with " Corbyn " do I have to wait for his turn in the cycle to fish for his Reputation item " shiny bubble ". Or can I fish any day for "shiny bubbles"

Fish with the guy on the floating ile near dal if ya want decent stuff if ya can’t wait for particular people in rotation.
