Does acquiring LFH still require a high fishing level or can you do the contest at 1 fishing? Does it increase ur chances or doesn't it matter anymore?

can do it at 1. got LFH on my priest with like 15 fishing, DPR on same priest with like 30-50 fishing

doesn't increase your chances to be higher fishing, just makes you do the act of fishing faster (lure thing catches fish quicker) and more successfully im pretty sure (less garbage items rather than what you're trying to fish for (tasty fish)

Okay, today I got LFH on my second twink that I'm prepping for WoD. And it was the first contest I've done on that twink, got LFH on 1st contest on my rogue awhile back aswell..

So is LFH easier to get now? I haven't really twinked seriously since tbc/wotlk, and I'm just prepping up for WoD since it'll be lively again then, or I hope so at least..

So yeah, has LFH had any changes since back then, or am I just very lucky? Appreciate any inputs.

Awesome, so It's never had any changes? That's good to hear, I love LFH.
I also got Dezian fish, I dreaded getting a Brownell fish seeing as those boots got nerfed to lv 35 a looong time ago.

Why were they nerfed anyways, was it just random? Nat Pagle's Extreme Anglin' Boots, that is. Does anyone recall?

Just Blizzard thinking they were too OP at the time.

Had 3 of the boot fish on my druid. 0 LFH

At the time they could be enchanted with 35+ enchants which blizz deemed too OP since then they have been too lazy to reverse it.
