PTR First Look at Shadowlands Level Squish

    • So the Shadowlands alpha database went up on wowhead, gets us our first look at the level squish coming.

    It may not be 100% accurate until we get character copies and more access, but the reduced level requirements on items can give us a rough idea of what levels our twinks are going to end up at.

    I just checked out a few items off the top of my head, came up with these:

    10 => 5 Darkmoon Vest
    19 => 9 Forest Leather Bracers
    20 => 10 Cloaked Shoulderpads
    29 => 13 Cutthroat's Mantle
    39 => 17 Tracker's Wristguards
    49 => 21 Mystical Gloves
    59 => 24 Gloves of the Dawn
    60 => 25 Neltharion's Tear
    70 => 27 Glaives
    80 => 30 Shadowmourne
    90 => 35 Rune of Re-origination
    100 and 101 => 40 Mirror of the Blademaster and Sephuz' Secret
    110 and 111 => 45 Convergence of Fates and Monel-Hardened Boots

    Looks like 44 goes to 19 (Edgemasters) and 45 goes to 20 (Helm of Fire).

    Who knows what brackets are gonna look like though, will be interesting.
     
    Ok so I know I jump the gun and go on a bandwagon, but I am going to play 20s until shadowlands drops, then check out to see what happens give it a try. If I don't like shadowlands "20's bracket" you can catch me playing classic 29s from then on.

    they nerfed this cloak from +5 Stam to +4 Stam

    Nerfed from +4 Stam +8 Int to +3 Stam +6 Int

    Fortunately AGM is still the same stat wise. Although, some items that don’t require a level to use are nerfed down

    Buffed weather beaten fishing hat, was 4 Stam 3 vets, now 5 Stam 6 vers

    Curious to see if azerite is still in the game.

    As of now you don’t get the neck leveling bfa

    on live the neck on use is “castable” at level 1.

    Really interesting to see if they keep the neck progression in or just make azerite a grey currency. They stated last blizzcon that 120 (50) will still have their essences and legendary ranks. There’s a toy rewarded on hitting 70 neck level, and a legendary rank essence for 70 too

    I have the castable spell on my 1 twink on live, does nothing, went into chamber of heart and used it to, nothing, doubt itll be any diff in SL

    Looks like 44 will become 19? And 10+ will have access to all leveling content? So probably 100% of current gear available will not be bis? Hard to know

    i have been farming bc heroic gems (5str/6stam, 5int/6stam, 5int/5ver, 5int/4has) from the heroic dungeons for months now .. and having no idea what it is gonna become in SL, now that 70s gonna be lvl27, so hopefully these will be still good to gem at lvl29 in SL gears

    these 2 lvls were expensive to gear before .. now the 100s will be wasted, their gears is nothing compared with the 101s if they are put together

    what will a lvl 10 or lvl 9 become in SL ? if it has all the epic gears now .. it would be a OP lvl 1 or lvl5 ? lololol

    there are epic foamsplit for lvl10 .. but a lvl5 will not have any abilities i suppose to do anything decent

    I can only speak for warriors, but at lvl 5 I will have:
    Slam
    Shield Slam
    Execute (unsure)
    Victory rush
    Hamstring
    Charge

    My 100 twink will now be the same combat as a 101 making a whole new ball game for me.

    Missions in class hall.
    Legendary this will be interesting.

    Looking it some of my bank from all 85-100 gear some of it will be best in slot.

    If you are thinking of going 101 get instanced gear now before they mess the scaling up
