First 70 Twink paladin. need a bit of help

I am no stranger to twinking. I have twinked just about every bracket. But for once i am actually in need of help.



I have never twinked 70 before and i was wondering how 70's do for gear as i have never played BC before when 70 was the cap. (already have 2 85's) Money is no issue at all for me. but what i am wondering is while i am questing in Wotlk zones to 70 is there anything i should pick up? or is most of the gear coming from sunwell and Bt?



And what raid should i be farming the most? because i think (not 100% sure) That sunwell was the last raid before Wotlk.



Ret holy or prot? personally i am thinking of going all 3 specs. But might make prot my main one.





Any helps or even tips or suggestions are greatly welcomed.

none of the LK gear will be better than gear in sunwell. focus on sunwell and black temple for t6 gear. i would recommend pvping while you lvl as much as possible to have enough honor to buy the brutal gladiator set, if you want to pvp and arena that is.



prot is fun b/c i have almost 90% melee mitigation with armor and resil..and thats w/o resil stacking, which i might have to try. oh and you still put out some good damage. and 1v1, esp against melee, you really arent gonna die with word of glory to supplement you casting heals. against casters its a bit harder.



ret is ok. heard its gonna get a boost in the next content patch or w/e b/c its a lil weak atm. slow up front damage while you build HP for templars verdict is all. finally got a "kick" on a 10sec cd tho and still have repentance, so good CC.



havent done the whole holy thing, but from what i hear youre super hard to kill, very efficient healer, and can even dish out some damage with crusader strike, holy shock, and w/e else you got

Brutal is dirt cheap, probably one of the reasons why 70 twinking is so active right now. You should easily have enough honor to buy an entire main armor set, each piece ranges from about 200-300 ish. ( I dont know the exact numbers off the top of my head)...



Weapons are a bit more, ranging from 450-600 honor. Offset vendor is missing , meaning, you have to use the blue pvp trinket, and can't buy offset pieces, this should hopefully be fixed next patch.



Anyway, my 70 paladin is currently ret, and I'm gearing him up since I can utilize the ret gear set for prot as well. I've noticed that the insane burst that ret used to have is gone, and you don't even get wings till 72. Your upfront damage is weak, but I've gotten some pretty crazy exo crits, and you have really decent self healing and utility.



If you can't decide ,just pick one and then gear up all three via honor. ~cheers.

its even cheaper than that , prices be rangeing from 140-175 for main armor, weaps is 350 for 2hs 250 main 1h 125 or so for Oh1 same goes for shields and relics. the off gear will probs be back in next or the patch after that.



id say go for 1,6-1,7k honor then you will have plenty for both main set and and weaps, and some left for off set
