idk if this is old news, but i discovered Firefighting Gear - Item - World of Warcraft which has a cool pump like mechanism which if you keep the item in ur bags, wil always appear on your back. just a neat appearance item. DO NOT COMPLETE the quest, or it will dissapear.

Hm. I wonder if this shows up on your back though. The wowhead comment on the alliance version does make it sound like it, but from the look of the screenshot it doesn't look like it.
