[ITEM]Shadowfang[/ITEM] 17.8 + F*CK yo' sharpening stone, I win without it = 17.8 DPS
[ITEM]Assassin's Blade[/ITEM] 15.5 + 4/1.9 ~ 17.605 DPS
[ITEM]Wingblade[/ITEM] 15.7 + 4/2.2 ~ 17.518 DPS
[ITEM]Cruel Barb[/ITEM] 15.5 + 4/2.8 ~ 16.928 DPS
[ITEM]Thief's Blade[/ITEM] 14.4 + 4/1.7 ~ 16.752 DPS
In order for these number to be correct for the fast weapons, you need to maintain nearly 100% time-on-target which is obviously not always possible in PvP.
So, using a consumable that only works in BGs and making a theorycrafting assumption that can't possibly hold up in actual practice, the Thief's Blade still loses.

iaccidentallytwink said:If poisons were a contributing factor the debate between Thief's Blade and Cruel Barb or Wingblade would be hugely different and most likely incomparable.
Just for example, I'd take Vendetta at 29 as an OH over anything. However, Thief's Blade would be arguably worse because it's over the GCD (Speed > 1.4 seconds).

the best rogue i ever saw play used scouts blade OH. if you like what you're using keep using it. .6 dps isn't going to win you a fight

iaccidentallytwink said:This make Dual AB's the best WSG DPS with Sharpening Stones next to Shadowfang. And Wingblade beats Cruel Barb in WSG with the stones too.
MIND = BLOWN.
WSG said:I can't tell if you are being sarcastic or not. I'm not actually ranking AB as a better OH than Wingblade. Considering the tiny difference in DPS (w/stone), the better stats on the WB, and the fact that 2.2 will give a bit more burst than 1.9, I would still take the WB. Not to mention, WB is far more viable in arenas.
The whole point of my post is that, even if you stack the deck in favor of Thief's Blade by applying a new variable that favors a fast weapon, it still ends up losing in the DPS department to multiple weapons and only offers a sidegrade in terms of stats compared to CB and WB.
