Why combat?
Each spec has a hidden passive that you can see the effect of through the armory. At this level, attack power and agility are pretty much equal. Sub gives 15% boost in agility, some of the highest damage increasing enchants give attack power, not agility. Assassination is worthless without daggers, with dagger you get 20 more max energy and 17% damage boost across the board. The combat rogue passive gives a 20% energy regen boost and a 50% increase in attack power, pretty much a 50% increase in damage across the board. Combine pretty much the best passive ability hands down with the fact that the specs only change by 1-2 abilities between them (and they don't make up for the loss in attack power) and you can see combat being the best. I can see assassin being better for opening with more starting energy and mutilate hitting pretty hard, sub can get combo points the fastest (their ability cost the least) but you lose a significant amount of damage unless that ability's dot last the full 24 seconds, it might be a stronger spec for really long lasting fights.
