do i go with heirloom Burnished warden staff / repurposed lava dredger

or a 1h with the lily offhand ?

Assuming weapon damage still applies to Ferals, you'd want a slow 2h weapon, like Bloodied Arcanite Reaper. Even though ILvl is beneficial, weapon attack speed still applies.

I think that crossbow from that one quest in Hellfire Peninsula is BIS.

Cat form has a set attack speed so weapon speed doesnt mean anything. Heirloom 2h mace is fine until you get the ilvl 27 (staff?) from bg crates.

The 1h mace/ lily wont work because: although you have a higher average item level, weapon damage is the most important thing for a feral druid and the mace hits for way less than either of those 2hs.

just throwing my hat in without testing anything but assuming wep speed is irrelevant for ferals abilities and also assuming your weapon damage is irrelevant due to templates would a 1h and lily be bis because your weapon damage is based on the templates damage
