FC Prot Pally is it even worth it?

So I have this old 39 I haven't played in ages, and looking at him I could see I haven't even finished him. You can giggle at him here.
I was thinking gearing him back for team oriented Flag holding. The question is; Is it even worth it. Does the current game play even allow for such a thing? What are your thoughts? Or do I just roll Ret?

i would say resto or guardian druid would be best but its always fun to mix it up
