Favorite Trinkets

Posted this in our guild discord but wanted to share for everyone, in particular those who still have game time and have not BGd yet.

The ghostly trinket for example was the same for me, tooltip reads 38 but was on proc 40somthing versa (openworld) HOWEVER inside battlegrounds the proc is only 12 versa making it useless tbh.

Have not tested to many others but something to be cautious of.

An easy way to test for this is to use the PvP target dummies in SW/Org/other places. Just start auto-attacking and it will switch over to the PvP numbers. You don't even have to equip the trinket if it has a working tooltip, just have it in your bag and check the tooltip while you are attacking the dummy

A couple more examples of this I've found while looking for strength trinkets are https://www.wowhead.com/item=88358/lessons-of-the-darkmaster?ilvl=25 (9 strength instead of 36) and https://www.wowhead.com/item=121570/might-of-the-forsaken?ilvl=25 (6 instead of 24)

Just notice two days ago that https://www.wowhead.com/item=111948/gruuks-evil-eye has 40sec(!) duration on bg.

I noticed something similar today. Had a good trinket that proc’s a nature damage from ranged attacks that hits for like 70 in PvE..... so all excited I took it into a bg and it hit for a whopping 12 or so. Some serious nerfs going on in PvP for some trinkets.

I like the idea from @mirrorbender to use a PvP dummy to test things.

also b/c me and Berk are the only two ppl who actually use this so B)

cant stress enough how good this trinket is as an fc too. get jumped by rogues and hunters? i activate trinket, do a 360 with my mouse and say peace ;D
