Finally made heirlooms the color they used to be, instead of that ugly light blue.
Also made artifacts legendary color because why shouldn't they be?

The only downside to this new feature is that it basically confirms how trivialized rarity is on gear. They used to determine how powerful gear was but it's all redundant now.

Havent been on classic/era to see if these changes are on there too, since they now share a bit of the same settings. But, at 19 on era I'd for sure set Shadowfang to that Legendary Orange!

Maybe they could make ilvl text color coded to item “rarity” and be dynamic based on how powerful the item is for you at your current level:

Ex: at level 20

- an item with ilvl level up to 79 is Green
- ilvl 80-88 is Blue
- ilvl 89-96 is epic
- ilvl 97+ is legendary

For max level it might mean that current season or tier gear would be epic/ legendary and past season gear would be blue / epic

This is just to help with colorblind people
It's no conspiracy to make rarity no longer matter

As someone with deutan who has a problem to distinguish between blue and purple quality items it's nice that I can make them both stand out more.

Doubt you could change a single item color without an addon. You'd probably make every blue an orange.
