Fast 10-20 Leveling?

Hello! I was wondering what is the fastest way to level your charachter to level 20. Reason bcz, as some may guess, is that I want reroll for the TBC dugeon quests to proc epic iLvL 87 socketed gear.
I have gotten the leveling time down to about 45mins from 10-20, but it is very dependant on how the queue time is at that time.
Here is my current leveling route if it helps ti find where to make it faster. I am playing with 2 sub accounts atm.
1.Start as allied race
2. Chromie time TBC, start to queue to a dungeon( Enter tbc dungeon if it pops, but don't re-queue until step 7)
3. Change to chromie time Legion while in queue
4. Do the Legion Intro in capital until you get the 3 buffs, then run to the guy who gave the quest to skip the intro scenario. (The buffs will still be active for 60min)
5. Arrive in dalaran, complete the quest to get the dalaran hearthstone and the Tome of Tranquil Mind(sell for 40 something gold)
6. Use portal in Dalaran to get back to capital. ( I usually use the mole machine if Dark Iron Dwarf to get as close to Chromie as possible).
7. Change to Chromie Time TBC and start queue.
8. Make HS to the closest place to the XP off trainer.
9. Usually I start questing in Redridge + queuing TBC dungeons.
10. Ding 20. HS back to capital and turn xp off.
11. I have a class trial mage with main account that has learned portal Shattrat, parked right next to the XPOFF guy. Make group with lvl20 and class trial mage, summon portal, arrive at shattrat.
12. Run to Auchenai Crypts. (I have a lvl 70 mage parked in Shattrat that I use the Sand Drake mount with to get there faster.)
13. Run dungeon or queue for it if solo( remember to pick up quests at dungeon entrance)
14. In the room with the last boss I only clear one side of thrash. After boss is killed I run with the low level guy in the thrash to kill myself to get to entreance faster.
15. Complete quest. If proc, good. Other ways repeat.

I am trying to get the proc for chest and boots on a druid at the time of writing this. So any help for speeding this up would be helpful.
 
Random dungeons or short PVP are quite fast ---

but one key is lock at level 10 to grind out a ilvl 59 Warforged or similar necklace before unlocking for the Burning Crusade 4 quest chance to proc Epic. Basically with a ilvl 60 or less necklace to use a Legion neck enchantment.

If you go straight to level 20 you may miss out on the necklace under level 60 or a okay feet item under level 50 (for the Minor Speed enchant) as these get are rarer to find as you level.

This would be a problem if you are f2p. But I can just go into dungeon with an apropriate level alt and trade the item to the lvl 20. I totaly understand what you mean, and can see the problem for a f2p perspective
 
So you are multi-boxing? It wasn't clear in the OP. Anyway, you still have to fast level the low level alt which is still fastest by questing, dungeons and PVP. Your 45 minutes seems fast ATM so not sure of making that fastener without a hack per se. If the goal is the Burning Crusade 4 quest procs than 45 minutes to get a toon to 20 seems fine.

The problem as I stated through still applies for the boots or necklace enchanting - if you don't find a ilvl 55 - ilvl 59 necklace for your alt toon before 20, it is much harder because you need to be at level 10 for the proc of WoD war forged at ilvl 59 or the quest bags from WoD daily or the LFD bags btw levels 10-19 as the other necklaces will pro'c higher at between ilvl 61-87.on level 20 or non-so good lower than ilvl 60 via a few area drops.

Only the heirloom necklace stays around ilvl 54 on level 20. But level 20 will get random between ilvl 39-44 by Shadowlands that could proc to ilvl 67 on a 20.

The feet item is a little tricker with using a higher level alt to help grind as none of the non-green items proc epic under ilvl 50 via dungeons or quests unless you buy one that was crafted (Swift Boots as exampled is ilvl 22 for level 15 for leather gear wearer) under level 20 requirement with various under 50 ilvl # or dropped at the right ilvl. for under level 20 (mostly grandfagthered items).

If not worrying about having the best slot enchants for necklace or feet, then disregard. But as you did mention a druid, thus for now only the Minor Speed on <= ilvl 50 feet stacks for getting the fastest out of your level 20 druid abilities.

Yes sorry for not beeing clear, I am multi boxing :)
Does it not work to take a level 10 with my level 20 into same dungeon, and then trade dungeon drop to the level 20 when the 10 gets the needed drop? I looked up that from Gundrak can drop ilvl48 boots on a level 16 char. So farm it with the level 20 geard up druid with the level 16 in party?

And same with taking a level 10 alt with me when farming wod?
 
You can trade BUT If it drops on your level 20 (or higher) alt it's a higher ilvl level non-epic ilvl 61 when you give it to the alt 10. If it drops on your level 10 it should be under ilvl 59 unless it proc'd epic then it should be ilvl 59 (currently only WoD instances). For example various Warlord/BFA/Legion/Shadowlands items on ilvl 20 proc's ilvl 67+; warforge only via Warlods is ilvl 87 via lvl 20.

Also besides quest items, all the BFA/Warlords/Shadowlands dungeon items drop randomly for all the party members thus if you use all level 10s in multi-boxing you have a higher change at a ilvl 59 epic vs using a higher level alt with a 10-20 alt.

Some multi-boxers gear up a level 10 toon with WoD ilvl 59 and one or more of the broken Shadowlands trinkets to run their alternative new character to get the ilvl 59 necklace faster. But its a lottery regardless because you than can't teleport or fly the alt to the right places etc.

One slight exception is a level 10 arcane mage on Horde, they can get Portal Stonard but its sort of useless when its only currently the WoD dungeons with the Shadowlands trinkets that are most of the speed runs for alts. Or to get an alt to the BC four quest for a proc chance. But seen the level 10 arcane mage with ilvl warforge go crazy in WoD instances, similar the level 10 monk and the Shadowlands trinkets.

As F2P you can't lock your XP, so it's even harder, if you want to farm on lvl 10, you can do like 1 dungeon before you hit lvl 11
 
you can lock and turn xp off on a F2p, you can't BG with xp off.

i myself did not know this was a change since DF, i said same thing in a post concerning xp off when it comes to F2P on making 10s. i was informed/corrected, so i made a XP off F2P 10 monk to do some WOD dungeons

at step 3, don't switch to legion. you can get the broken shore quest from the hero's call board instead. this will allow u to keep qing while getting all the buffs/unlocking legion. if ur unlucky and have to get all the call board quests to get the legion one, this addon might be helpful

at step 9, instead of going to redridge to level while qing go into the wizard tower in stormwind and talk to the honor hold mage. the mage will teleport you to wod intro, start doing wod intro while qing. wod intro gives good exp.
if you complete wod intro/garrison intro + qing tbc dungeons and you still arent level 20, you should go back to sw and head to goldshire. pick up all the quests, then do the fargodeep mine quests there (scout mine, gold dust, and candle quest). After that, talk to marshal dughan. you should have a dialogue option. click it. you will then be riding a horse to your next quest hub at the eastvale logging camp.

i also highly recommend picking a class that has a tank spec/healer spec, dps spec que times are horrendous. preferably tank spec, being a low level tank with heirlooms (plus enchants if u wanted) will allow you to carry tf out of ppl and complete dungeons fast. can't rlly carry dungeons as a dps/healer like that with only heirlooms.

i have a 1-20 time of 58:27, might be useful to you. this was during dmf, so the route takes advantage of that.

HOW... did I overlook this for so long? I can finally make 1s and 10s twinks :D
 
The trick with level 1, is no matter where you go you gain experience, making it easier for a Alliance human or Horde orc/troll, than say Dwarf/Gnome/Night Elf/Forsaken/Tauren as they all have to get to their core Stormwind or Orgrimmar to lock XP. Yeah, one can multi-box with a higher-level mage to make a portal to one of these but the challenge is what can a normal level 1 do to lock their experience before level 2.

There is a slow way to get 10 gold without leveling too much - fishing. Currently this does not level you up like herbing or mining does, you can fish even without a fishing pole or training as well as if near one of the vendors you can unload your fish/junk items when inventory is full. Yes, it doesn't level your fishing without training for it but you just want free stuff to sell. without gaining experience.
 
I haven’t really tested it for speed. But if you do have a decked out 10 you could try to boost 1-2 of your own levelers in island expeditions

Basically your main 10 and 2 of your own levelers (recommend to run 2 levelers at a time)

Group everyone up and que “solo island expedition” which will be an instant pop

You should get about a level per island and you can get some pretty quick runs going as a fully decked out 10 twink.

This may not be the fastest way. But you can probably quickly level 2 toons at once relatively afk on them

The Tarantula rare in redrige has a chance to drop 17g trash. But probably won't be good for lvl 1 as those rares grant alot of xp, maybe someone should try it with xp debuff.

From lvl 5 on you could also take engineering if you got the Blingtron 5000, and loot gearspring parts everyday. Edit: Forgot that it needs Draenor engineering, so screw it
