Farming? Ups and Downs.

I'm surprised more 24's don't farm. I mean they're level 24 for a reason.

Do unto others as you would have others do unto you. [Matthew 7:12]

I completely agree with this.

The way i see it, if I don't want to be farmed, i won't do it to anyone else. Not everyone has that mentality though and that's fine. A lot of horde afk out when they might get farmed and that probably doesn't help ally q times at all. If you want to farm go ahead but i guess it all comes down to whether your smart enough not to res or not.

At first some may find it good fun but I can assure you that most, including myself, find that the novelty wears off thick and fast.

Being the occasional only healer every now and again within a pug automatically makes me the target of abuse. As the f2p's rush ahead for incredible epeenage I sit my butt down in the middle, go make myself a cuppa and come back and read all the lovely messages I get from all the fans asking 'WHERZZ B MY HEALLSS FFS??' 'NEWWWB SUCK A DUCK'.

Great fun.

What's farming? Farming is worst when you or your guild deny you farm and you do. Just admit. But farmers shouldn't be mad when they get farmed. All Honeybadger is saying.

I'm more against GY camping in this bracket than in any of the others. In other brackets you don't experience this 20 & 24 problem, most people are equally geared. What this means is that GY camping was probably a result of better team coordination by one side(most of the time). In the 20-24 bracket its a completely different story, 24s Q w/ other 24s ( how is this fun?) and just totally dominate.

I'll give you /likes but you have to amuse me first!

Also, I don't GY farm because I think it's a turd thing to do (I don't do it because I wouldn't like it done to myself.).

Nothing proves your skill/class/etc more than killing someone over and over before they can move. Amirite?

Besides, if you want to farm and reinforce your excellence, go Exp exploit the 10-14 bracket.

Go on... Do it.

Royal here,
I'm not sure what the purpose of this thread is to be honest, but I thought I'd give my 2 cents.

To me there's a difference between GY camping and farming.

GY camping (imo) : is extremely distasteful, especially when guilds run 5+ premades (you know who you are) and sit in the enemy graveyard for 25 minutes continuosly sending them to their grave. That's just pathetic, and I sincerely pity the people who engage in this type of activity.

On the other hand, there is PuG farming: if you solo queue on your twink and sit in mid, "farming" or controlling players ability to cross into your base, maybe sit on flag return duty, then I don't see a problem. The rest of your team will likely be trying to cap, and the other team will at least be able to enjoy trying to coordinate / strategize to overcome your twink and be competitive.

When we (HI) queue together, (usually 3-5) were hoping to run into a similair (3-5) group that queued togethern as this usually makes for fun/competitive games that end close (while I don't agree with "GG AFK OUT"s attitude, I can admit that they have given us some competitive, close, well fought WSG ABs, so props for that) games like this are why I love this bracket, and hhelp build our teams communication/teamwork skills.

When we DO come up against teams that we can steamroll, we usually offer our F2P teammates our assistance/ the opportunity to gain some achievements (ii.e ironman) and/or 3 cap swiftly in hopes that the next game will be more balanced/offer us some better competition.

Inbetween our queues we enjoy dueling, levelling proffessions, assisting our guildies, and chatting in mumble.

I can honestly say I enjoy every minute of my play-time with this guild, and do so without (I hope so at least) ruining the game for my opponents.

I don't pay your $15, and won't tell you how to play the game. This is just my 2 cents.

I usually think with these threads, why do other people care about others feel about how they play.

Then I realize, I don't care, and grab some of the community popcorn and enjoy.

If the community popcorn is anything like the community pool...

I just make sure I'm the one to refill the community bowl of popcorn, so then right after I do, I take out an entire handful of it and hide it under my shirt, so it'll last me throughout the night.

Well, I have noticed alot, and I mean alot of mixed contreversy (however you spell it) on Farming. Yes we can three cap, but wheres the fun for us? wait in the queue to instant cap the enemy flag? Thats boring and a waste of time. All twenty fours farm and dont say you haven't in a battleground. So I personally made this thread to see the opinions of everyone, Your not going to change my theory on this but I love to see what others think.

Enlighten me...

Unlike the rest of people on here i don't care how other people choose to play. I think for Horde it's not really necessary since you can get a new game in 30 seconds or less and hopefully it will be a competitive one.

For Alliance i get it a little bit more, they just set in Queue for 20 minutes and they don't want to win in 5 minutes to go back to circling Goldshire.

The better team makes the rules though.

GY camping is like kicking another man in the balls during a fight, in the end it doesn't matter if you win or lose you're still a bitch for doing it.

I ran like 10-12 bgs tonight with 3-4 real ids. We discouraged GY camping in every game, and tried to end each of them asap.

I hate GY camping and think it ruins the bg experience for those being farmed to the point that some people don't come back. It's bad for all brackets especially this one.

Idk it is kind of amusing when I'm being farmed and the other team is yelling "N O A N A A". I think you guys need to fix your macro.

The only time we supported graveyard farming in provocative was when we broke off from Eplc.
I remember zola was on her alliance 24 hunter (feletia) and we made her afk out of the game after killing her 8 times.
:D
Still 3 capped at 16 minutes though.
