Farming the sea turtle mount

Where are people doing this as F2P's? Also is there somewhere that doesn't involve getting constantly killed by aggressive high level mobs?

There is a thread on this somewhere but if you want the most efficient spot i would suggest dmf pools, you get a lot of things and you can farm the pet and turtle at the same time, if you don't want to do that then go to twilight highlands

There are broad stretches along the inner river and the southern coastline where you can fish easily if you are horde. I could literally run into TH from Wetlands, run a path along the river and coastline, and never aggro a mob for 2 hours.

I got bored of TH and now only occasionally fish in Ramkahen because I don't want to giive up completely.

The only place I could find that wasn't in Northern was Darkmoon Island and it says it was a 0% chance to drop so idk what you can do. Here's the link to thottbot page of the turtle.

No, you can fish it up in any Cata pools or DMF pools. Twilight highlands is the best. There are lots of F2Ps that have it, including myself.

In TH you only get it from pools, correct? Meaning you can't just throw random casts and get one?
