Farming tarantula silk sash

Has anybody succesfully farmed/tried to farm this fine belt recently? Need it for my druid, have never seen it on ah and I heard its price is quite high anyways. So how hard is it to farm, wowhead says 0.03 drop chance from chatter but wondering if that can be true.

It no longer drops and the droprate is from previous xpacs. Similar to Black Widow Band and Chan's Imperial Robes.

So GMs say it drops but accidentally is right that it doesn't drop? Or right that I'll be farming for it forever? confusing

If a gm says it drops it doesnt.

If they say it doesnt drop it does drop.

GMs still say that it's possible to make Green Lens of Stamina, Owl, Eagle, Wolf, Intellect. I am not confirming that the sash still drops, but sometimes GMs don't know what they are talking about. I have random stat items that GMs have restored that never existed. When you equip them, the stats go away. (http://us.battle.net...as/Cotin/simple). This lens never existed, therefore when equipped it doesn't give any stats. GMs aren't as reliable as people think.

GM's are actually unsure about most things and are completely unreliable

There is a long list of items with similar droprates, 0.04%, 0.01% etc that only drop from one mob. That item was removed from drop tables in Cata and WoWHead doesn't reset their DB so it keeps the old recorded drops. Most of these items had a 50%+ droprate in the past from the mob. TSS is unique because it was complete crap prior to Cata which explains why so little of them exist, while the others had some usage.



Also check out Magic Dust, it "drops" (according to WoWHead), from an object you can't attack, that used to be a mob pre-cata.

I don't only use it in my FC set but I use it in the majority of my caster sets as well. In a good game, I will occasionally switch it out for Vigorous Belt of the Vision, and some other DPS items too. Such as Conspir Slippers, Stillwater's ring, 15sp bracers, etc.

Gm said to me too that it still does drop, well I guess I'll stay farming it while queuing for bgs... I don't really have anything better to do.

You could use leather satchel belt of the monkey, I do and prefer it

i've farmed it for like 1 week now. maybe gotten around 4 kills no drop yet..

I doubt it still drops, but you can keep on trying if u want to

I'll keep on farming for it, so far gotten maybe 20 kills or so. It seems to spawn about once an hour or something like that, drops greens each kill, also sometimes spider's silk. So if I never get it at least I get a few gold from the other drops
