Fang bonus set worth for a hunter?

is [Footpads of the Fang] worth it on a lvl 19 hunter for the Embrace of the Viper 2/5 bonus - [Increases damage done by Nature spells and effects by up to 7] ?

Do you see any significant [Serpent Sting] increase by doing so?

does [Venomstrike] proc get affected by it?

I am also interested in the (3) set bonus +2 on Staves for Meele Hunters reducing that atrocious miss chance but it is probably not worth it.

some people use them over feet of the lynx as alliance because theyre essentially a budget trailblazers

r3 serpent sting dmg is awful and too mana intensive to be used anyway

Unfortunately +weapon skill is not affected in a Battleground. However if you were to have it and say attacked by an enemy player in wPvP then it would.

I thought it was just maxed out for everybody but you could reach more, for example with the human racials, but it seems weapon skill is pve exclusive in classic.
