Gah. I very much dislike people who try to tell the fc how to run the flag. But hey, idiots happen, don't sweat it too much.

As for the new kick feature, it just so happens that a couple months ago it spontaneously changed so that enough reports removes you from the bg instantly : / Which is really handy for getting rid of bots that can get in combat, however it does rather work against you if you suddenly become unpopular with your team.

I have no idea if it was an intended change or not, I certainly saw nothing about it in the patch notes.

I love the people who tell me to heal them. It's kind of insulting. I mean, that's the whole point of me bring there.

Most of the time I just say, "I DONT NO WUT BUTTON MY HEAL IS>> WUT DO i PRESS?"

im gonna reply to alot of post in this one.

1. i already play on AP, i have a hunter who is almost geared and a priest that is in the making. then my druid is on a diff realm so i could get AGM's
2. i know trolling back wasnt right, never said it was, but i was just pissed off, and i usually avoid doing it but its different when 8 other people are saying you suck d*** when you are the only one scoring points.
3. whoever said that im nobody would want to do premades with me and that i come off as a b****, i have done many premades on AP and have never had anyone tell me anything bad, honestly. never had a problem with anyone in the chat either.
4. its not about the server because again all different servers are in BG's, i was not in a premade, and this was 10-14 xp on bracket.
5.the main points of this post was for opinions on the report AFK system really, not to whine or nothing, just explaining what happened.
6. to "prevoke" them was like i said, i was standing on tunnel roof and they were like "MOVE OFF THERE GO CAP FLAG" when i had no def/heals and alliance were waiting for me to jump down. after they continued trolling and not coming to def after i asked, thats when i started to troll back "which i said wasnt right to do, i was just mad at a team of trolls".
if this thread is that much of a problem and it has to be deleted or w/e then it is what it is. im not trying to start fights and idk why people are coming at me i thought we had the same view of thing opposing my team who thinks "just jump down to a crowd of people waiting to kill you".

If you play in pug, one advice don't read the "discussion" if you don't know the players you're with.

- open the minimap
- set the player in your team you have a good synergy with (healer?) as your focus, often check his position, assist him.
- never stay still, turn your cam all the time.

you don't really need to have any other info, a tip where the flag is coming can help you gaining few seconds, but that's it.

of and if you're the kind to be easily annoyed, just desactivate the emote, those are useless too.

Unless you're doing premades, in my opinion Battle Ground Chat shouldn't be ticked. People don't listen in pugs, they don't cooperate, and it's just an outlet for players to take focus away from the task at hand in pugs.

There's only ever 2-5 out of 10-15 players who actually make an effort in pugs. The problem being that under regular circumstances you can't 2 man a WSG and you can't 5 man an AB.

Some people say stop putting emphasis on AP. I say it's the only way to play effectively in this bracket. So please put emphasis on AP.

besides for me trolling back, what did i do wrong? try to carry flag and win game?
there is something wrong with report system, "Report player --->AFK<---" when someone is moving around, typing, trying to win the game... they are not AFK therefor its "false reporting". its not like im getting banned, but still, im not afk so they should have multiple options of report. i doubt they are gonna add "report noob for not jumping down and dying" or something.
they should have another option besides AFK. take this for instance. you are sitting on your roof holding opposing teams flag, opposing team has your teams flag. nobody from the opposing team is coming at you, or is coming and wont get to you for a bit. you have been reported AFK by a troll who isnt having their best of days. now you have to run and risk flag (debuff or not) just to stay in game. there is NOTHING wrong with that?
so now you were making team win and you are kicked out, have to wait 15 mins, were not afk, but some troll was able to kick you out because they are completly stupid (because they dont know how to play WSG, and that a FC isnt suppose to go looking for fights).

I think our attitude towards other servers can definitely change and be more positive, but for the most part I think we "mean well" when we encourage players to come to AP.

All we want is to help other players get the most out of their F2P experience - whether that means rolling on a dead server so you can get AGM and have few friends, or come to AP, probably never getting AGM ever but having 40+ people to play with, feel like you belong to a family and do premades/world events together all the time.

The only reason people don't roll on AP or make the move is because they either don't know that AP is our "designated" main server - OR they simply haven't played on AP and got a real taste of the Aerie Peak F2P experience.

I can understand other realms have potential for growth - Moon Guard is one example where we're seeing a good Alliance community pop up, but the thing is too many people come in here spruiking their own server (when there's maybe 5-10 people on that realm) - then we suddenly have too many low-pop realm options for players to go to which scatters new potential players (who could have rolled on AP/MG instead)

And for those reasons I think its ok to promote AP, at least for Horde anyway.

just not on TI (other than the front guides) because we all know already or atleast it is right to know about it.
lets say someone posts about a low pop realm on TI. big deal because they will now leave AP or leave their own servers and go to that low populated server clearly knowing that it will be better than AP community..... nope

i usually afk when i face those damn 24 twink guilds while stealthed on like a corner and top of the rock or something far from our gy so no one will notice too easily.
i think that is kinda still off topic but whatever lol

blizz reply'd back to the ticket. they said to post on wow fourms somewhere in there because they need everyones opinion on changing it.
idk y they cant just put a poll for it or something but oh well. guess the false reporting will continue.
