F2P warlock rotation?

Hi there!

I was thinking of making a F2P warlock, never played in the F2P bracket before. I was wondering if anyone could offer me advice of a general warlock rotation in this bracket (essentially a 'how to play a F2P warlock' basics)? And some of the top end damage spells?

Thank you!

Kig

Rotations as such don't really exist in pvp, it's all very reactive. I have a destro lock, but she's not my main, so i'm not an expert on locks. Destro seems to do the most dmg out of the 3 specs.
Immolate targets you can, incinerate to build embers, conflagrate to burst down and slow targets with immolate on them, chaos bolt to kill or to burst down targets. Fear and seduce important targets. Dark regeneration and healthstone for burst heal on cooldown.
Chaos bolt with the right gear should go for around 1k dmg, all others for around 350-450 noncrit.

Check the guide section, there's bound to be something there.

It's your lucky day, Sir Bendandcough the Fluffy, Protector of Haste, Defender of the Spirit, has just posted some numbers on max warlock damage. A lot of your "rotation" is going to depend on the situation, but basically you're going to try and burst someone down if 1 on 1. I'd throw in some fears to buy yourself some time, but other than that, what Bend (aka Snowjobs) describes is your max burst.

Here's the link to the his breakdown of destro damage: http://www.twinkinfo.com/forums/f43...struction-warlock]-sir-bendicus-fluffy-63574/

Salfir has a pretty relevant guide on here, not sure if you've seen that yet.

I found it pretty helpful for some general info.

I'm not an expert on locks.

Hi all!

Thanks for the advice!

Does anyone know if once putting up corruption on everyone and using hand of guldan twice, is it viable if you have enough demonic fury to use metamorphosis and put doom on everyone as well? or is that a waste of demonic fury? just trying to get a good idea of some viable rotation based on a situation involving WSG and primarily mid fights.

Thanks!

I find doom more useful if you have good crit, because doom crits proc ur wild imps. And if it's on more targets then it's got more chance to give u imps.

And in the case of not-so-high crit? because i feel as though if i go all out crit, i lose a LOT of spell power from intel.

And how about touch of chaos, and soulfire? Are those good to use? And I've been told drain of life is superior to shadow bolt as a filler spell?

soul fire is pretty well pointless I find, the damage of shadow bolt is usually higher.
As for drain life over shadow bolt, it really depends on the situation, for example if you've popped your heals and you aren't kiting then drain life is the best way to go, also sometimes you might not have the time to cast shadow bolt, here you could get 1 or 2 drain life ticks in.
But in terms of which does more damage, i think they're pretty similar, but drain life has the option to cut it off short and still have some damage done.

Maybe I don't understand the relationships between the two servers, and the ill nature you guys seem to really hold for each other.

But the "rekt" at the end of the video kind of ruined it for me. The display of skill got cheapened because you had a lack of respect for your opponents.

If you don't respect your opponents, why should I respect your gameplay against them?
