Alliance
Draeni is the only playable alliance shaman race. They make effective healers with Gift of the Naru and the extra hit rating is not something to laugh at. Also access to heavy stone statue.

Draenei is best for ele and resto so that you can hitcap with Heroic Pressence and Drakewing Bands - Item - World of Warcraft.
Dwarf is best for enhance for the mace expertise.

Main hand: Enforcer's axe
Off hand: Doomspike.

NEVER use daggers as enhance.
Pre BoA: Axe of the Enforcer - Item - World of Warcraft OFFHAND and Battleaxe of the Farseer - Item - World of Warcraft MAINHAND
If you can't get Axe of the Enforcer, use Battleaxe of the Farseer - Item - World of Warcraft OFFHAND and Butcher's Cleaver - Item - World of Warcraft MAINHAND

Hey Vianco wanna make an enhancement guide? We could both work on it, since you are da pro, and I am still noob.

Check my sig for Ally enhancement gear guys, not the best, but Its pretty viable pre BoA's, just switch out the cloak for a bandit and you r gud

Just wondering because I'm actually not too familiar with this. Wouldn't you put Axe of the Enforcer main hand because they're both equal speeds but that has higher top-end?

You put the higher top end damage on offhand for nice lava lash crits.

Get close smash face in.. Haha jk, Hunters are really hard to beat 1 vs 1. I have personally never beat a GOOD hunter with good gear. Their DPS is just far too much, however vs dem backpeddlers you drop down totems always, all 3 EB, Searing, and Healing. Keep loghtining up. Run away until he gets close to your EB and Searing. While he is walking towards you at approximately 1 mph you turn ghost wolf, run in ES>LL>primal>trinket his concuss, stoneform (if dwarf) keep running because he just disengaged into a wall 2 ft behind him ES>Primal>LL >dead. You might want to start with FS and keep re-dotting him but meh.. ES is an instant 100+

In wsg youre hopeless one on one for the most part.

In an arena scenario it would be stay los'd until he gets antsy, kill pet, continue los'ing/healing, wait for him to come around the los, earthbind, do your best to blow him up, he'll disengage, repeat. You won't win against one that actually knows what he's doing but that's the best you can do. I could be totally wrong lol

There really is no way if the hunter knows what hes doing.. It just sucks... 2vs2 arena with healer you have much better chance to kill 2 hunters i believe. IDK though...

I am willing to help make a Shaman guide if another Shaman player is around to help. Billow? Mindyy? any hordie Shamans? I think this is a much needed guide for Resto, and Enhancement.
