F2P Shadowland tips fo beginner?

Hi,
I played for a short time in BFA and played for a while in Shadowland pre-patch. When I look some players equipment, lots of them have item level 44 or with gems. I played only legion via Warchief commnad board and now Dark portal quest line. For a while I see on this forum thread for begginers, but I can not find it now. I have few questions:
1. I play on Doomhammer. Is better to start on other realm where in more f2p community?
2. I possible for f2p gain best equip alone without high level friends? Or other player , because via Dungeon finder see only 2 dungeons.
3. Where ist best location for EQ? I read that for mastery is good legion, I have lots of mastery on my shaman, but low versality. Where is better gain haste / versalit EQ ( for shaman and mage), or versality / mastery . Every tip will be great.
4. In shadowland is posibble to make profession to 300, but what other like legion or other? Is posible to have legion or BFA ench on f2p charakter? Which one choose?

You managed to find our old archived BFA F2P forum.

Please read through the pinned threads and guides in this forum and you'll find more information than you want to know.
 
As a hubrid class i can clear most dungeons alone, but that will take a some time. I recommend you to change spec to restor so u can get these items solo. Ofc that will take some time.

Neck with 22vers from the Scarlet Halls
Cloak with +7 vers - Scarlet Monastery
Ring with pure vers (+22iirc) from the Gnomeregan

PS necks and rings with pure vers is super rare, so it's worth to get them anyway, for future.
 
Thanks for tips, but when I read that basic guide and looking in armory, many players have items that requires 25-27 level. It is patched or is still posiible get 28 item level items in Nazir? Where in actual patch can find items with sockets for gems? only in TBC dungeons or also via quest?
 
tbc dungeons are guaranteed socket. ilvl 28 green are chance to socket, you need to kill level 25 mobs to get ilvl 28, if you kill level 20 mobs they are lower ilvl. they can be bought on auction house but not for f2p. they are random world drops, not just a single item. wowhead dont show these well cos they are the same itemid but different ilvl. quests cant socket

This is a visual glitch in the armory, they are ilvl 28/require level 19 gear that drops randomly from various mobs in legion and/or BFA zones. Since you're F2P, youre limited to farming in Nazmir or Drustvar and it is... a *grind* as the items have a low chance to drop anyway and then you've gotta hope its the right armor type and suffix and then further hope you get at least a socket proc.

To further elaborate to give OP the idea:

Pray an item drops > pray it's the item you need > pray it's the suffix you want > pray you it's got the right secondary stat roll (maximum secondaries at least) > pray it's got a socket > pray it's got a tertiary > pray that tertiary is at least leech, speed more ideal likely, anything but avoidance / indestructible. At least 6 layers of rng...

Not a single twink is getting BiS this expansion.
