Well, I think it becomes less important as time goes on, especially as we approach one full year since the unlimited trials start. And some of the entries started even before that point.

I'm actually thinking about eventually showing a "last played" date as some of the trials retire their toons (which is inevitable, of course).

Please note that I have added this note to the original post regarding inactive players:
Players that have been inactive for a month are italicized with their last active date shown. Those inactive for two months will be considered “retired” and removed from the rankings. Retired players with at least 100,000 honorable kills or 2500 achievement points will be moved to a separate “Retired” list.
