using low-level hunters as the basis for any argument is probably the dumbest thing i have ever seen

19 vs 19 same spells, same abilities, same gear minus BOA helm, minus enchants

24 vs 20, 24 has extra talent points, extra spells, extra stats, and will have gear from quests and enchants a 20 can't get



24's pick up alot of abilities, take a look at feral spec druids. no F2P20 f-druid is gonna stand a chance on a P2P24 f-druid that will see you in stealth with ease, get the free opener, even if in trouble can switch to bear and throw a faerie fire that does 600+ damage on a 6 sec CD at that

Nah I'll pass on the qq, it doesn't tend to be constructive.



Even if the bracket is mostly 20s now, once more p2p people realize it's being flooded with squishy lvl 20 trials (I'm sure not all of them are twinking, and even the twinks will be at a disadvantage) theres nothing to stop more 24s from joining in.



I was just wondering at the logic that 20s is the best place to stop, it seems like 14 or 19 would make more sense, is there a good reason for 20 I'm just completely missing?
 
14 would be a great alternative, the bracket is low on activity and could use a huge boost, also 14 f2ps would be able to compete with 10 twinks and 14 twinks easier due to stat scaling at lower levels on BoA.

the 19 bracket however is stable and could use less poorly geared players.
 
But, until the f2p players were able to get their BoA gear they would be at an enormous disadvantage in the 10-14 bracket, I don't plan on doing this but I see why they wanna roll 15-19 f2p, there its just some enchant disparity and maybe a little bit of BoE gear, here in this bracket its a ton of new gear, new spells, and the enchant disparity... I have 2 19 p2p twinks as well as this 20 f2p so I mean I just wanna have fun, (grinding new gear at 85 constantly is starting to get old) and the 20 bracket really is a lot of fun when there aren't a ton of hunters, or more than 1 24 in each BG...



@Allahkazam, i dont want either but, what is it gonna take to get each out of each other's bracket? Lets be real, you guys in MMB are the ONLY 24 guild that is unbeatable, I have beaten Rolling on 24's a few times, although they have won against me just as much, if you guys would simply roll 20's, it would lower the amount of 24s that pose a threat by a huge number... and i swear if you come down to 20 it will be just as fun, but maybe as the f2p 19's see that there is less a threat of 24's then they would pick up their level, then again it might not work but whats wrong with giving it a shot guys, I mean come on, its free ;)



All that being said i like that you guys don't farm, it makes the BG's you are all in bearable, i just think you wouldn't have trouble facerolling alliance pugs if you 5 queue up together as 20's...

I can't stand 19 f2p's as it is but if you roll a hunter your not doing anyone a favor even yourself when it comes to skill woah you can conc shot, disengage. Your not a threat your a nuisance, the next new f2p hunter i see will force me to make a 24 Bis hunter and put all F2p's on auto focus.

Fill me in on your logic here : just because someone is going f2p makes them a child, but someone who pays for a game and spends the entire time at a low bracket is not? I don't see why we should be using disparaging language on anyone.



I believe part of the discussion of this thread is where f2p accounts should play, so when you say "your bracket" I would still love to know which that bracket is, since every bracket is going to have p2p twinks in it who will have that advantage.

Why not cap at 14 or 19, when capping at 20 means that p2p has not only the gear enchant advantage but also 4 extra levels?



I appreciate Sax's explanation as to why 19s would make a bad fit, that makes more sense.

Heh,now we know why he talks against 19 F2P twinks.He is afraid that his 24 twink made for pwning lv 20 trial twinks will find himself in an empty bracket 8)

How so, sports fan? If you're attempting to say that hunters will do fine as F2P 19 because it's obvious the class is overpowered, thank you for supporting my argument accidentally.
 
If 20-24 becomes 24s infested, F2P will obviously be better off migrating to 19s, as p2p will have only enchants, profs and maybe some boe as advantage, in 20-24 they also got 4 levels of abilities, talents, access to higher ilvl gear and additional chance to miss (the last one being he biggest problem)



Also the 700hp morons you speak of are most likely p2p idiots and not f2p idiots , as for a f2p getting the 10g to lock XP takes some farming, so if some1 would do that they would also sure as hell farm their gear as well, before they enter BGs.

you would think 24 hunter would be good, but you are better off rolling a healer like holy pal or priest that can just stand there healing while dpsing and just never die.

i really don't care. i have twinks in multiple brackets. i'm even making a 20 that will adhere to f2p stuff. if the bracket falls apart it won't happen because of 24s. It will happen because the alliance facerolls and doesn't roll anything but paladin/rogue/hunter. It won't be a 24 guild with players who aren't completely terrible that ruins the bracket. It will be the multitudes of shitty alliance players that play the faceroll faction and the faceroll classes that do it.



As for twink, i really don't have much that a f2p couldn't get other than engineering explosives and pants that give an addition stam, str, and 5 agi. i'm level 24, but i'm in pretty much shit gear with zero enchants. i get carried big time by the rest of MMB.

Thottbot has alot of outdated and wrong info.. For example once it told me to go half way across the zone for a quest that happened right across the river thing.. (Back when WoTLK was still "new."
 
well thottbot was it's own prior to WOTLK, and went under in during WOTLK till it was taken over by the parent company of wowhead. things change and what happened 3-5 years ago is irrelevant



so saying one is inferior to the other or likewise is derp. here are 2 examples:
