Wait, isn't that supposed to be cat? :D (I'm pretty sure it's cat )

Excuses are viable, you just shouldn't take it for more than it is. It might be true, it might not be.

I've often duelled people where it's quite obvious they're having net issues, or they pre-duel tell that they're having a major delay.

I myself have been bitch slapped a few 100 times by the faith of Al'akir delay... Bad realm at times.. :(

But, if you lose in arena, true, going instantly to the other realm and say "BUT BUT IT WAS BECUZ N ALL DIS STUFF" it does indeed make you look bad. :)

Yeah it is but I heard it soo many times I wanted to be oringal! :D

Yeah excuses for me are alright, geez I've lost many duels to just doing stupid mistakes, lag and mum coming in telling me its time to gtfo and get a job lols but its all part of winning and losing.

you could say that about the fish feast though

If you talking bout arena not. And in duels, i guess every decent player knows what's the legal stuff (arena-only stuff) and will only use them, mb normal food and loh but 80s buffs is lame, and most ppl know that.

Ha! Doesn't affect me, and I live at home!

Mine is called the dad-factor :(. But, it's not a big deal, he is mostly on /ignore anyway. It looks rather funny seeing that mouth move without hearing a noise :D

If someone says 'I lost because ___," I just hear "I lost because I lack skill," or "I lost because I don't have the dedication to perfect my toon," or maybe "I lost because I was foolish enough to face you with this class of toon on this terrain." Then there's "I lost because I was foolish enough to q for arenas alone, or with a partner or partners who lack skill or dedication, or who are not a good class choice for our class combo." You just need to install a translator in your head. Those excuses are just acknowledgements of your superiority.

There's always a luck factor, that is why you often play 'best out of' games. But either way, the odds of a huge crit streak are extremely small. If your chance to crit is 20% the chance to crit twice in a row is 1 on 25 and trice in a row is a chance of 1 on 125. On a long fight this will flatten out to a 20% chance with a 1 or 2 percent margin, that's not an excuse. Know when to pop your lifeblood and this should not be a problem for you.
